Nice unit. My cousins unit was much nicer. Glad no oil to ruin such a beautiful area!!!

The condo itself was everything we dreamed - clean, well-stocked, convenient. There's even a guest book with some great little stories of others who've stayed there. The resort however did not offer a single amenity advertised on their site. No beach tram, swimming pools were not heated and most were closed, fitness area with sauna and steam room is owners only - no guests, aka renters, admitted. When we tried to turn in our ticket for beach chairs we were told they were all reserved, despite the large trailer of chairs we walked around to get to the hut, but to pick out some empty ones and hope no one came back. And when we tried to go to the cafe in Ariel Dunes I for lunch, it was deserted. We stood around a few minutes and finally just left and went elsewhere. And be careful which building you choose, b/c you can't use the amenities of any other building even if the ones from yours are closed, e.g. swimming pools, even though they're all part of the same resort. So what was my $60 resort fee for? We'll definitely come back to Destin and rent a condo, but it won't be from this resort.

I was very pleased with the condo. It was very comfortable. The view was amazing too. It was also very conviently located. Not only to the beach, but also a short drive from the grocery, malls, nice restauranta and many other fun activities. My only gripe would be the check in procedure. My only gripe would be the check in procedure. We were informed to check in by 4:00 so we arrived at 3:45. Then we were told the condo wasn"t ready give us a number and we will call you. we had to wait with and anxious four year old for over and hour. Yet if we didn't arrive by four, we would have had to make arrangements for an evening check in because the office closed at 5:00. I understand that it must take a while to clean each condo and it was immaculate. However, waiting over an hour is kind of ridiculous. there must be a happy medium? Anyway, we enjoyed our stay so much that we are looking into buying property in the area. we checked out a condo for sale in the same unit too. Our next trip will be back to the Seascape Ariel dunes, unless we have purchased our own property before that.

We arrived in our condo and the power wouldn't work in the bedroom. We had to call the front desk, and it took a couple of hours for someone to come look into it. They said the breaker was off. Why? This condo claims to be almost right on the beach. It's NOT! You have to walk a fairly far distance when carrying beach equipment. The security is a joke. You just give the guard a little wave and you're in. At night, when you need security there's none to be found and the gates are wide open. The ammenties is also a joke! you don't get complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas! You pay a $28 a day ammenties fee and then have to stand in line for an hour in the hot sun to get a chair reservation. They only have 50 sets. Have you seen how big this condo is? 50 is nothing. The condo itself was nice and clean. We enjoyed having a fridge, washer, and dryer. The gulf view was also nice.
